XGIMI Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Chengdu, China. The company is dedicated to the fields of smart projection and laser TV, embodying a high-tech enterprise that encompasses design, research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service.

On March 12, 2018, XGIMI received strategic investment from Baidu. An IDC report released on December 3, 2018, showed that XGIMI led the Chinese projector market in the first three quarters of 2018 with a shipment volume of 400,000 units. This marked the first time a domestic brand surpassed international giants Epson and Sony, ending the 15-year reign of foreign brands in the Chinese market.

In 2018, XGIMI’s shipment volume was 575,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 65.70%, with a market share of 13.20%, ranking first in the country.

On May 28, 2019, the People’s Daily published an article titled “China’s ‘XGIMI’ Offers Users the Ultimate Experience—Creating World-Moving Technology Products,” stating: “XGIMI’s innovation is disruptive, starting from the user’s pain points, creating a new form of product that changes the competitive landscape of an industry.”

In 2020, XGIMI continued to lead the Chinese projector market with a shipment volume of 757,000 units, breaking through an 18% market share.

In 2021, XGIMI’s annual shipment volume accounted for 21.2% of the domestic projector market, ranking first, and exceeding the combined shipments of the second to fourth place.

In 2022, XGIMI once again won the double crown of shipment volume and sales revenue in the Chinese projector market, with a continuously growing sales revenue share.

In the first three quarters of 2023, the global projector market shipment volume reached 13.5 million units, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%. With innovative technology, excellent products, and outstanding user experience, XGIMI secured the second place globally with a 5.1% market share.

Throughout 2023, XGIMI maintained its double crown in shipment volume and sales revenue in the overall projector market. This marks the sixth consecutive year that XGIMI has been the number one in China’s projector market shipment volume and the fourth consecutive year it has taken the top spot in both shipment volume and sales revenue.
