Please go over the procedure and follow the required steps:

Decide whether you want to become a Wikipedia admin or not

Be an active member of Wikipedia for at least a few months (eg. five or six) and make a lot of good changes (eg. at least a few thousand edits) which help build the encyclopedia.

Nominate yourself by going to My Preferences > User Group Rights > Admin > Request for Adminship > Nominate.

Create your subpage and answer all the standardized questions.

Accept your nomination afterwards and post it at the "request for adminship" page.

Participate in the "RfA" Request for Administratorship proceedings - unsigned comment by User:Katimawan2005

@Leeheonjin - the process mentioned above is for English Wikipedia, for requesting administrator rights on Wikimedia projects which do not have a local permissions procedure follow the steps below:

Announce your intention for adminship at Wikipedia:Pasbul (Portal) ning Balen and let it run for a week so the community can dicuss or vote.
After one week, follow the instructions and post the link of the discussion or local vote at m:Steward requests/Permissions#Requests.
